One Eyed Parrot May 2018 Update

2018 continues to be a great Year for the One Eyed Parrot Dance Club! 

We've picked up 3 different venues this year alone and are getting requests for other establishments to consider them when a free night opens up. 

We have continued to add new & special events to the growing list of activities for 2018 

If you remember dancing at Max Capacity you'll be happy to know we'll be back there when it opens back up Stay tuned, I will announce our first date on Facebook when it happens.

In the mean time they continue to remodel, both the upstairs and downstairs to make it the premier dance club in Western Massachusetts.

Our next Road trip & workshop is to Epping NH on June 2nd to visit and teach with Gail Eaton. Awesome instructor and all around wonderful person.

May 2017 Calendar Released

New for June 2016

Hey, Hey it's almost Sum-Sum- Summertime and we got some changes & some new things happenin' in June!

First, we decided to take Thursdays off for the Summer so no Thursday dancing in Westfield starting in June and we will also be shutting  down Fridays for the Summer as usual after the Annual End of Season Bash at the AMVETS which will be Friday June 24th. 

New in June will be Radio Ranch Playing for the 1st time at the Granby Legion on Saturday June 11th. Club Manager Ed Houlberg wanted to do something for the Monday night dancers so he booked Radio Ranch on a Saturday night in the upstairs Hall.   We'll be there from 6:30 -7:45 Line Dancing before the show. 

On Saturday June 18th we've been invited back to do a guest teach down at Cadillac Ranch in Southington CT. Our road trip to Caddy keep getting bigger and bigger, we always have 30+ Parrots that head down with us so come along and join the party, it's always a Blast and we get to dance with  Paula Michael & all our Caddy Friends. 

June 24th is the date of our 7th annual One Eyed Parrot END OF SEASON BASH! Yeah that's right we end the Line Dancing season at the AMVETS with a bang and Potluck Dance Party on the last Friday night of the season officially ushering in the Summer dance schedule. Randy will be DJing all your line and Partner Requests till closing. ALWAY A BLAST. Don't Miss it!

Three years ago, I stated in this Blog that 2013 would go down as the most successful year in the history of the One Eyed Parrot Dance Club. I was correct, then… but that statement isn’t true anymore.

The reason it is no longer true is because 2016 is by any measure, is quickly becoming by far, the most successful year in the 10 ½ year History of the One Eyed Parrot dance club.

We have broken all previous attendance records in every venue with some events attendance ranging in the Hundreds!

We are teaching in multiple venues & locations throughout western Massachusetts 5+ days a week.

And most importantly, we are growing like MAD! Club Membership remains by far the single most rewarding club metric. I stated in 2013 that the club had more than doubled in membership in just a year. Well since that time our membership has doubled again!

 The long time friendships that we have been fortunate to establish and maintain over the past 10 ½ years and new friendships that we as a group have cultivated are by far the most satisfying of all achievements. It’s those friendships and the continued, selfless efforts of all our friends that keep the club, fun, relevant and growing.

I’ve said it oft before, and I need to say it again…

Wow, YUP 2016 Already! 
Well we just kicked off the start of another great year with the One Eyed Parrot Dance Club. Last Year was AWESOME with tons of fun, dancing memories and great friends! If you missed it you can check out the 2015 Video Review HERE!

Not only does our 2016 winter/Spring Calendar have a supercharged dance night schedule with Lessons 4 Nights a Week, but we already have tons of trips lined up and adding more as we speak! Road Trips!!!

Despite Mother Nature's best efforts, we had a great time on our Winter Road Trip to Cadillac Ranch, Southington CT 2/21/15. 

DJ Matt O'Sullivan mixed it up great making sure everyone had a great time and got to dance. The storm made it so we didn't get to visit with Paula, Micheal or Chris but we can fix that BECAUSE...................

Our next Road trip is the East  Hill Farm County Dance Weekend in March. We'll be heading up to Troy New Hampshire with Paula Frohn, Michael Silva and Chris Petre and Dennis Boss for a full Filled weekend at a beautiful Country inn. Join Us! See Flyer Below
